It is the result of years spent working alongside executive teams, finance leaders, and operational owners in large and middle market companies, helping them see and close the gap between reporting and operational truth.

Over the last handful of years, technology has stopped being the barrier to better planning and execution. The tools are modern, but boards are left wondering why, despite major investment in ERP, analytics, and AI, the payoff remains elusive.

This book was written to raise CEO awareness that operational truth requires their leadership. Truth is not easy, and it is much more than an IT project.

How This Method and Book Came Together

Trusted Facts has taken more than five years to develop. I did not start out to write a book. It began as a framework for client work. As I learned what worked and what did not, I captured those lessons and built them into the discipline over time. It’s a 60-page actionable playbook.

On a recent trip to Vietnam, I was inspired to pull it all together into a cohesive work. If you are a coffee lover like me, do yourself a favor and order some Vietnamese coffee.

My early career began in software, and for the last twenty years, I have worked in management consulting. Eight years ago, I dedicated my career to analytics. I recently certified as an AI Transformation Leader through Microsoft. I was pleased to see the right things present in the exam. This method is my perspective on how it should be done. My goal is to get you and your team thinking differently. We only grow as individuals when we wake up to and deal with our own truth.
